Job Summary
Responsible for overall Company compliance with applicable Federal and State health and safety laws, regulations, and codes. Responsible for managing and training Division safety managers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, implement, and maintain Company Health and Safety Plans and safety policies and procedures.
Plan and implement health and safety programs at National level for field construction teams for site safety practices and hazard identification and reduction.
Conduct health and safety inspections and compliance audits.
Manage and verify Company internal and third-party inspections on Company or third-party platform to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards. Determine appropriate corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.
Manages Company outreach and interface with applicable Federal and State health and safety agencies, and with applicable home building associations.
Screens vendors' qualifications and Accident Prevention Programs. Lead accident and injury investigations and prepare relevant material and evidence for use in potential hearings or proceedings.
Complies and submits accident reports required by regulatory agencies to the Company Risk Management and SHRH representative.
Must be wailing to travel to all markets.
Provide 10-hour OSHA training and other health and safety training in person and online.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years construction and workplace safety experience required.
Prior regulatory experience in health and safety preferred. Prior experience in conducting workplace health and safety inspections required.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred.
Relevant undergraduate degree preferred.
OSHA 30 required.
Construction background required. Ability to understand, interpret, and apply applicable regulatory requirements.
Bilingual Preferred.
Must be meticulous and have analytical ability.

Compensation
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
- FLSA Status: Exempt
- Bonus Type: Year End Discretionary
