What to Expect Tesla is seeking skilled Construction Civil Technicians to join our dynamic Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) project team. What You'll Do Work as a team with the entire Construction department Maintain and troubleshoot various types of general construction tasks Encourage and drive success through KPI's Use complex schematics and blueprints to plan work scopes, install requested improvements, and troubleshoot and correct problems Consulting manuals, read and interpret diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and schematics Perform installation work, equipment repairs, and similar duties Display a positive attitude and practice good work ethic reflective of the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company What You'll Bring Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Construction at journeyman level or higher in industrial or commercial settings Rigging certification and CDL a plus but not required Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment Able to work 10 hours per day, 50 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching Able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds, pushing and pulling of objects is required with repetitive use of arms, fingers and hands Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Aetna PPO and HSA plans > 2 medical plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Account) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High Deductible Aetna medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program
