Deposit Operations Exceptions Specialist

Primary Purpose:

The Deposit Operations Exceptions Specialist is responsible for the proper handling and completion of all activity relating to daily exception items.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: (Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned)

• Load checking/savings paper items into the Exception Item Processing system
• Post/Return rejected ACH and Check debit/credit items
• Work ACH and Stop Pay Hit reports
• Chargeback Return Deposited Items via the IS Returns system
• Make GL entries based on pay/return decisions
• Monitor request received via OnBase
• Balance daily work
• Answer questions via phone or email from branches relating to exception items
• Assist with balancing Recon GL accounts
• Meet daily deadlines
• Special projects as required
• Travel for training as needed
