Job ID: 4629 Join the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) team, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking innovations! We are seeking applicants for the Custodial Manager position to join our Business and Finance Division. Key Responsibilities/Duties: Responsible for the direct supervision of assigned employees including selecting, mentoring, training, motivating, appraising, recognizing, balancing workload, team building, and other management functions Acts as primary liaison between the custodial staff and the rest of the lab and resolves any escalated issues Ensure functionality and customer satisfaction in facilities cleaning and aligns work assignments with strategic objectives. Drafts and updates custodial processes, procedures and work instructions Coordinates with the Logistics Senior Manager on any personnel issues and is responsible for custodial personnel decisions Administers annual custodial budget and forecasts out-year requirements for the Logistics Senior Manager Functions as the main point of contact for coordination for the cleaning of SDL occupied facilities for the Logan, UT area. Responsible for the overall quality, safety, and productivity of the custodial office Reviews staff compliance with SDS requirements, procedures, and work instructions with Custodian Supervisors and individual staff as needed Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US person 5 or more years of managerial experience 10 or more years of commercial cleaning experience Must model a strong work ethic and professionalism Ability to tackle problems and address barriers to achieving results Experience with planning and supporting the coordination and management of commercial cleaning and equipment Advanced experience in custodial task coordination to assist staff and building occupants with unique cleaning requirements Strong interpersonal and communicative skills May require flexibility with work shifts. Ability to coordinate with Logistics Senior Manager and programs to forecast staffing and resource needs Salary Range $70,000 - $100,000 Salary commensurate based on education and relevant experience This range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role, level, location, market conditions, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
