  • Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Hourly Rate: $22 - $29

  • Verifies and maintains accuracy of all part numbers and verification of cylinders

  • Keeps the database updated on inventory levels and adjusts target levels based on seasonality

  • Counts in and receives incoming cylinders, and assists the Distribution Supervisor with trip load verification for the drivers delivering cylinders to customers

  • Maintains database with tickets, production data input and changes, cylinder movements, and raw material receipts in SAP on a frequent and daily basis.

  • Document cylinder gas inventory usage using the required tools

  • Comply with all applicable facility guidelines, procedures, and all applicable Airgas Standards and regulatory guidelines including, but not limited to: SAFECOR, HS&E, CGMP, OSHA, etc

  • Respond to emergencies to ensure an uninterrupted supply of products.

  • Monitors and receives cylinder gas deliveries to ensure accurate delivery documentation is completed

  • Conduct a full inventory count of empty cylinders at specified intervals

  • Coordinates with the inside sales team and the plants to ensure seamless follow-through with customer service requirements and expectations.

  • All employees are expected to perform any reasonable work request that falls within the qualifications but not specifically described

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • SAP or similar software system experience

  • At least one year experience in industrial retail, inside sales, customer service, and/or inventory control-related position

  • Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, etc.)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business management, finance or similar

  • Well organized; creative problem solving; strong service orientation

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence, and work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Make initial evaluations and then obtain proper assistance when confronted with problem situations
