Service Technician I is responsible for the service and repair of RV products assigned to him/her by the Group Leader/Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure thorough and accurate repairs as assigned by the Group Leader
  • Maintain key relationships with Customers, Service Manager, Service Supervisor, Group Leader, Service Advisor, Parts Associate, and Service Technicians
  • Properly use special tools and equipment provided by the service department
  • Analyze & improve work processes to achieve higher efficiencies and cost savings
  • Confers with Group Leader/Supervisor regarding policies, procedures and objectives
  • Maintain uniform appearance, housekeeping and safety practices consistent with company policies
  • Maintain the workspace assigned in an organized and clean manner
  • Use supplies in a practical and economical manner
  • Recommends changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency
  • Provides recommendations for tools, equipment and supplies
  • Meets productivity and efficiency expectations as set by the Group Leader/Supervisor
  • Maintain a high quality of workmanship for the work performed
  • Turn in time sheets daily
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and maintain productivity
  • Advise group leader/supervisor of any defects in production workmanship, design or vendor related items found during repairs
  • Follow company and plant safety procedures
  • Performs any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School/Vocational School Diploma (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year previous work experience
  • Previous experience working in a high production and/or repair facility preferred
  • Excellent attendance
  • High focus on repair quality and customer satisfaction
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Productivity/Efficiency
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • Valid driver's license
  1. Ability to adapt to new processes
