Position Title: Assembler/Quality Inspector
Wage: $18/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday We're seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Assembler/Quality Inspector with hands-on experience ensuring product integrity, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing precise inspections, documenting results, and supporting continuous improvement through collaboration, problem-solving, and strict adherence to ISO standards. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Lenexa, KS. Assembler/Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform product inspections and tests following SOPs and quality standards - Inspect mechanical and dimensional characteristics, general appearance, and check for damage or nonconformities - Document and prepare inspection reports; validate rejection documentation (e.g., First Articles) - Assist in making rejection decisions and report any faulty operations or materials - Cross-train within the quality team as needed - Maintain organized records and a clean work environment - Participate in ISO, safety, and health programs - Operate and program inspection equipment - Contribute to shop floor control and production planning tasks Assembler/Quality Inspector Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Regularly sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend or lift up to 50 pounds - Physical exertion is moderate; assistance is required for heavier lifting - Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience preferred - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions - Experience with inspection equipment programming - Proficient in basic computer skills for shop floor control and production planning QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
