Job Summary and Qualifications Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide scanning services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. (80%) Patient CT Imaging Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures that will be performed Performs routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians Providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure Adjusts scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS) (15%) Team Leadership Assists in the hiring process for new team members Coordinates the training and onboarding of new team member Leads regular team meetings and team member one-on-ones Monitors and approves timecards Initiates and participates in performance reviews, development, and performance management of team members Develops team members schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate coverage Evaluates workflow and implements process improvements for the team Ensures team has knowledge of company and department policies and corresponding procedures are in place Required: Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing Certified in imaging specialty Four (4) years' imaging experience One (1) year working as a resource/mentoring to others and identify and implementing process improvement opportunities Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform advanced CT procedures independently with highest quality Certification in imaging specialty Preferred: Bilingual Works in multiple modalities and/or has multi-modality certifications Prior supervisory or leadership experience RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
