Position Summary The IDRE Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that support all areas within PRI's Instructional Design, Research, and Evaluation (IDRE) function - including Health Information Services (HIS), Eligibility and Enrollment Services (EIS), Data Entry (DE), Quality Assurance (QA), and related operational teams. This role collaborates with subject matter experts, QA teams, and program leaders to create engaging, data-informed learning experiences that drive performance and support continuous improvement. The specialist also plays a key role in system training, documentation standards, and remedial learning efforts aligned with IDRE goals. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop training materials tailored to IDRE needs, including eLearning modules, instructor-led content, job aids, and assessments using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices. - Provide instruction on how to use the IDR case management system, electronic systems, and documentation tools, ensuring users understand workflows and data entry standards. - Educate staff and decision-makers on quality control protocols, documentation standards, and required timelines to support compliance and performance expectations. - Collaborate with the QA/Training Manager and QA Specialists to develop remedial training manuals and materials, including visual charts, slides, videos, and other tools to support learning retention and performance improvement. - Serve as a point of contact for training-related questions or clarifications from internal teams, offering timely and accurate support. - Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, performance data, and QA outcomes to inform continuous improvement and instructional redesign. - Ensure all training materials meet accessibility standards (508 compliance) and are compatible with PRI's learning management system, Bridge. - Support special projects and contribute to IDRE-aligned initiatives, including curriculum updates, quality assurance reviews, and instructional research. - Manage multiple training projects and deadlines while maintaining high quality and alignment with PRI's ISO and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) standards. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, health information, or a related field; or 5+ years of equivalent experience in training development. - Minimum 3 years of experience designing and delivering training in a healthcare, government program, or operational services environment. - Proficiency with eLearning development tools (e.g., Captivate, Articulate) and learning management systems, preferably Bridge. - Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE), and performance-based training. - Experience developing remedial or corrective training content based on QA findings and performance data. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills; ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines. The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role will be $50,459 - $75,723 (not including discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits). The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include but are not limited to relevant previous experience including duration and type of experience within the industry, education, and internal equity.
