What this job involves: As an Assistant Facility Manager you will maintain client satisfaction through delivery of comprehensive Facility Management services and support programs. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and work with internal contractors and technical staff to exceed customer expectations across all facility operations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Vendor management for maintenance of janitorial, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, critical systems, HVAC, and other services defined within the account
  • Support facility soft services including janitorial, meeting preparation, conference services, copy centers, media services, waste management, food services, parking, vending, and badging
  • Perform routine facility walkthroughs, document findings, and ensure corrective work orders are generated to address issues
  • Support work order management for in-house staff and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety, environmental, and risk management policies in conjunction with the area/site manager
  • Support the facilities manager in implementing short and long-term client projects
  • Proactively develop and manage client relationships to achieve expected service levels
  • Follow established escalation and incident reporting procedures
  • Assist with achieving financial targets and key performance indicators
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, prepare monthly spend reports
  • Manage Purchase Orders associated with supported locations
  • Process monthly contracts and resolve vendor invoice issues promptly

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of management experience with budget allocation in large industrial or commercial facilities
  • Working knowledge of CMMS or work order management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Property, Business, or related field
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

Estimated total compensation for this position:

75,000.00 - 85,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
