General Purpose: WEX Telematics Team is growing and seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team! This is a critical role that will act as a "Trusted Adviser" for all our prospects and customers. The IS Representative will be tasked to grow our small and mid-sized business! WEX Telematics Trusted Advisers will build upon an existing book of business through a pipeline of new and diverse opportunities. We apply a solution selling approach that starts with understanding the customer's core needs. Then, we recommend one of our industry leading solutions to enable our customers to improve productivity, increase safety standards, ensure compliance with key regulations (ie HOS, ELD & IFTA) and track sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping businesses solve complex problems by using WEX's Premium Telematics services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with potential customers to understand their challenges and goals related to Fleet Operations. Position the WEX Premium Telematics Services in a manner that leads to an excellent customer experience. Desire to become a Subject Matter Expert that maintains strong knowledge of best practices, industry trends and competitive landscape. Links WEX product features and benefits to the potential clients' needs. Uses proven sales skills to negotiate and close new contracts to existing and new customers. Applies Growth Mindset to overcome objections and challenges that lead to an engaged customer. Work closely with WEX Telematics Customer Success Team to ensure post sale activities are positioned to succeed. Actively engages internal teams and external partners to share lessons learned. Utilize Salesforce on a daily basis to maintain accurate records of all sales activities including sales calls, emails, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities to maintain accurate records to maximize portfolio potential. Must also be able to use or learn Siebel. Understands and leverages the relationship between benefits, value, and price to acquire new customers. Manage existing customer business to process reorders/upsells & renewals. Accurately write customer quotes and process orders with precision, ensuring error-free transactions. Quickly learn new products and product upgrades, understanding their benefits and effectively positioning them to customers to drive sales. Develop and maintain strong relationships with our vendor partners, collaborating with them as needed to successfully close customer deals. Collaborate with and train other WEX sales teams to enhance their understanding of the WEX Telematics' offerings, enabling them to successfully refer customers to our team. Actively contributes feedback and innovative ideas regarding the marketing of our product, as well as suggestions for product improvements and necessary enhancements. Responsible for continuously expanding knowledge of and cross-selling additional WEX products, such as Payzerware, to existing customer portfolios. Tenured representatives in this role are responsible for mentoring less experienced colleagues, sharing best practices, and imparting their knowledge to promote professional growth and success.

Education and Experience; One of the following:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong sales skills and knowledge of Fleet Management Service industry and services. Strong sales knowledge Fuel Management business. Proficient computer skills including Salesforce, Google G Suite (Mail, Calendar, Meets, Hangouts, etc.), Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must pass a successful background check.
Experience with selling and using in conjunction with a commercial grade, cloud based application. Bachelor degree or equivalent from four-year College, university or technical school.
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
