This individual possesses an in-depth understanding of espresso technique, preparations, calibrations, and theory, and is adept at translating this expertise into world-class hospitality to our guests and training to our operation teams. This position is responsible for crafting high-quality espresso beverages, developing innovative drink offerings for catering requests and needs, and actively supporting the regional beverage program through meticulous development, rigorous testing, and comprehensive audits. The Beverage Support Specialist will serve as a knowledge resource and an operational anchor, ensuring consistency and excellence across all beverage offerings. The job requires 60% of employee's time spent on site at Partner Plex working Barista requested events. [ Events may be AM - PM and possible Weekends ]. The job requires 10% dedicated to location evaluations of quality standards, operation standards and overall experience within the Regional Beverage Program. The job also requires 10% administrative work with continual development of training programs through but not limited to videos and classes and the remaining 10% left for recipe development and setting quality standards. This position supports catering operations in developing job based skills and training in all catering operational needs to ensure quality service and beverages when barista teams are in operations. This position models excellence in hospitality, espresso technique, teaching and adherence to company standards for all Baristas to follow. The work required in this position must follow Bon Appetit's commitment to sustainability, proper health and safety guidelines. The Beverage Support Specialist will focus on beverage operational training for the Food Partner Plex program in order to support operational excellence. This position reports into the Beverage Program Manager and will leverage their strong beverage and operational skills to partner with key stakeholders to provide activation, mobilization, menu rollout, and beverage training support to enhance the overall user (partner) food experience.
