Summary


This position supports Charlotte FC's match presentation and production experience while working cross functionally with the club's Marketing, Sponsorship, Ticketing, Digital, Game Ops, etc. Additionally, the role may support other stadium events as needed.



Primary Responsibilities


This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:


Alongside the Director, Event Presentation and Production, manage the control room operations for Charlotte FC, MLS Next Pro, soccer competition and international soccer matches including:



  • Actively participate in the creative vision, development, and execution for matchday and events
  • Organize, develop, write and track matchday scripts for all soccer competitions
  • Act as Control Room Director on matchday
  • Manage all LED content and schedules for Charlotte FC home matches
  • Manage Stadium Producer to ensure all content is loaded, tested and produced
  • Actively participate in the creative vision, development, and execution for matchday and events
  • Manage and crew all Charlotte FC and MLS Next Pro Home Match including talent (PA & DJs) contracts rates, invoices and booking
  • Manage external creative vendors contracts and payments
  • Provide proof of performance for Partnership, Entertainment, Community and others


  • Ensuring deadlines are met and projects stay on track


  • Assist with other Stadium events as needed (concerts, football, etc)
  • Other duties as assigned



Minimum Qualifications



  • At least 5 years of experience in live event presentation
  • At least 3 years of full-time staff management experience
  • Creativity and ability to bring innovative ideas and concepts
  • Knowledge of Daktronics Show Control and the Adobe Suite

  • Must be able to multi-task while managing time successfully



Work Environment and Physical Requirements:



  • Must be available to work in all Charlotte FC home matches.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, and endure weather conditions, including rain, wind, high and low temperatures, etc.
  • Must be able to work in non-traditional settings, and work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical workspace at both Charlotte FC office and Bank of America Stadium
