JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Eberly College of Science Office of Science Outreach is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated undergraduate or graduate students to join our team as Eberly Outreach Ambassadors. As an Eberly Outreach Ambassador, you will conduct engaging lab tours and STEM activities, promote science self-efficacy, collaborate with faculty to showcase research, and assist in recruiting and coordinating high school participants. Additionally, you will support events such as Penn State's ENVISION Supporting Young Women in STEM, Haunted-U, and Exploration-U, and help recruit other students to volunteer and work with our programs. Note that some of these programs will occur on weekends and evenings. Compensation for this position is $15.00 an hour. Key Responsibilities:

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
