Payroll Administrator

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team. Under the direction of the Office Manager and work as a member of the Administrative Team, perform administrative duties along with financial analysis of data in accordance with established procedures. We are seeking a dedicated team member who takes pride in their work and demonstrates genuine commitment to individual and team success, self-driven and motivated, posses strong reading comprehension skills to accurately interpret written instructions, policies, and documentations.

Major Responsibilities:

* Working in collaboration with office managers, their team, and human resources

* Maintain/updates employee status changes, PTO/SSL balances, and benefits

* Accuracy in data entry and maintaining employee information

* Attention to details and problem-solving abilities

* Strong organizational skills and critical thinking skills

* Coordination with project managers

* Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data

* Participate in analyzing and improving business processes within our department for optimization or standards of quality

* Interface with human resource information system and team to ensure integration requirements are properly implemented

* Proactive attitude that focuses on creating ideas and plans for correcting issues or handling daily tasks

* Any other job-related duties assigned and not limited to any other duties/task needed from admin

Background:

* High School Diploma. Related associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

* Proficiency in basic accounting and business software.

* Proficiency in Microsoft applications

* 4+ years of payroll processing, preferably multi-state payroll experience.
