Auria is looking to hire an
IT Intern to support the Auria Space corporate IT team. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Assist Help Desk staff in responding to Tier I support requests via ticketing system, email, phone, or in-person.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Assist with account creation, password resets, and access permissions.
- Maintain and update inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Document support activities, solutions, and knowledge base entries.
- Support system imaging and software installations.
- Help with onboarding of new employees by setting up workstations and user accounts.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior team members in accordance with Help Desk procedures.
- Follow all company IT policies, procedures, and security protocols.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
- Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.
- Currently enrolled in, or actively pursuing, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 0-4 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or related IT fields.
- Foundational knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common productivity applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply new technical concepts and skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
- Exposure to Entra ID, Active Directory, Jira Service Desk, or remote support tools.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, VPN).
- Experience building or troubleshooting personal computers is a plus.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $20/hr - $35/hr
