About the Implanted Cardiac Monitor Clinic

The Implanted Cardiac Monitor (ICM) Clinic manages about 900+ patients and is based in the Corewell Health West region. The clinic is responsible for rhythm monitoring devices such as Linq models, Biomonitors, ConfirmRx and LuxDx. They are also responsible for routine surveillance of a PA Sensor monitor called Cardiomems. An ICM can be used to look for difficult-to-detect arrhythmias. A PA Sensor monitor is used to monitor pulmonary artery pressure to improve the management of heart failure.

Implanted diagnostic monitors help our physicians provide the best treatment for a patient's condition. The ICM Clinic serves as a comprehensive management team focusing on pre and post procedure education, processing routine and alert transmissions, and working closely with our providers and care teams to monitor our patient panel safely and effectively.
