As a Security Officer - Media Access Control in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment at a leading technology, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible and approachable, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site guidelines, including responding to alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and access control activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and coordinating with site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter potential security-related threats and promote a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
