Job Responsibilities

Yarde Metals is looking for a Class B Driver to join our Fleet & Operations Team. A Class B Truck Driver safely operates a commercial truck to transport and deliver material to customers. We are looking for a driver to cover out Southeast/ NH and Northwest MA location. In this position you would be making about 10-15 stops a day.

SAFETY FIRST!
Safely operate a commercial vehicle.
Load and unload material.
Secure loads and assure they are within weight limits.
Verify material condition and quantities during the loading/unloading process.
Report vehicle maintenance needs.
Report overages, shortages, and damaged material.
Assist with loading and unloading material at points of delivery and pickup
Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor or group leader.
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements & Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Valid, current Class B driver's license and medical card.
Clean MVR.
Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
Six months minimum experience strongly preferred.
Capable of meeting lifting and physical requirements of position.
Willingness to work required overtime.
