Get to Know Your Team:

  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

  • The In-House Traveler agrees to commit to up to a 13 consecutive week assignment, working a minimum of 40 hours per week or 80 hours per pay period.
  • Coordinate radio-pharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
  • Administer radio-pharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Explain the imaging procedure to patients.
  • Must maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire a quality scan.
  • Be able to demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS Computer System.
  • Assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the operation of the department.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.)
  • Minimum of one-year recent (within the last two years) Nuclear Medicine Tech experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
