Are you a student passionate about protecting the environment and solving real-world challenges? Fishbeck is offering a hands-on internship from our Grand Rapids, Farmington Hills or Ann Arbor office, where you'll work alongside experienced engineers and scientists on projects that improve air and water quality, manage stormwater, and support sustainable development across Michigan.
What You'll Work On
- Collect and assess stormwater samples and environmental data.
- Support the development of environmental plans (SPCCs, PIPPs, HWCPs, SWPPPs).
- Assist with permits, applications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists on consulting projects.
- Participate in site visits and fieldwork to gather real-world experience.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related program.
- Curious, analytical mindset with a passion for environmental work.
- Comfortable working independently and asking questions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
- Previous field or lab experience is a plus.
