ROLE SYNOPSIS

The Field Operator PP - Vessels will operate the use of Sand Control and Acidizing applications for our Gulf of Mexico Pressure Pumping services. We work closely with our clients and other BHI Personnel while effectively delivering a world class service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Operates company equipment on a daily basis on a marine vessel to deliver products, service tools, equipment, and platform services.
  • Participates in rigging up equipment on location which includes connecting hoses, high pressure iron, etc. to equipment and to the customer's well head on a rig or platform.
  • Without supervision will:
    • Direct equipment rig-up and rig-down
    • Independently operate equipment associated with pumping slurries or a combination of specialty chemicals and/or acids to complete or stimulate the well.
  • Maintains all required inspection and log reports to comply with regulations and verify well data.
  • Preferred experience running sand control and acidizing equipment of increasing complexity in the Pressure Pumping Group.
  • Ensures maintenance is performed to prepare equipment for job requirements.
  • Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a High School diploma or GED to be considered.
  • Preferred to have experience in Pressure Pumping experience (land or offshore) specific to sand control and acidizing.
  • Mechanical ability and aptitude.
  • Must be able to work offshore and a mobile vessel.
  • Must be able to work 14/14 schedule.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • General knowledge of surface equipment and chemicals.
  • Competent with volumetric and composition calculations.
  • Ability to work well and communicate well with others.

OTHER DETAILS

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Travel 50% or more.
