Come join our award winning 11,000 strong organization as we fuel the world and each other! Summary: Responsible for handling natural gas nominations, confirmations, scheduling, and allocations. Manages daily imbalances with producers, shippers and pipelines in accordance with contractual and system compliance. Ensures daily and monthly deadlines are met. Maintains strong internal and external customer relations based on honest and timely communication and transactions. This position requires moderate knowledge within a functional area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Nominate, confirm, and schedule receipt and delivery volumes in applicable transaction systems and the interconnect pipelines meeting daily cycle deadlines * Manage shipper and OBA imbalances on a daily basis * Work closely with shippers, Gas Control, Operations, Accounting, Marketing and Commercial groups as needed to facilitate fluid flow of daily/monthly business * Maintain strong customer relationships and provide prompt courteous service to customer inquiries * Responsible for nomination and shipper allocation setup in transaction system * Ability to prepare and reconcile volume allocations/curtailments as required * Serve as a member of the Accounting Close team and assist with close duties under tight deadlines * Prepare and post notices for customer website * Manage moderately complex Offload Interconnects including critical analysis and reports for contractual / volumetric obligations * Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate pipeline maintenance, outages, weather events and ensure nominations are in alignment * Assist with preparing and performing test cases on system projects or system issues. * Prepare and provide information for internal and external audits, including FERC and SOX * Review and process Prior Period adjustments

* Respect and follow safety policies and regulations
* Ability to work remotely from home (if needed) and work non-standard hours, including rotational On-Call, weekends and holidays, as required to meet established deadline Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level: * The Associate Gas Scheduler requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 years of directly related experience in either natural gas scheduling or other energy industry business activities.
* The Gas Scheduler level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of directly related experience in either natural gas scheduling or other energy industry business activities
* The Senior Gas Scheduler level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of directly related experience in either natural gas scheduling or other energy industry business activities

* Usually, normal office working conditions.
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
* Ability to work remotely from home and work non-standard hours, including On-Call, weekends and holidays, as required to meet established deadlines.
* Occasional overnight travel may be required.
* Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
