What you'll be doing...

Become a key player in elevating our high-performing Internal Audit department to best-in-class! Join our dynamic Professional Practices Group (PPG) and be instrumental in transforming the Internal Audit Department's technological capabilities. As a Senior Manager, you will focus on identifying and implementing process efficiencies, particularly through automation and the strategic use of AI, Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace, and other tools. A key aspect of your work will involve developing robust dashboards and reports, providing critical, real-time insights to senior leadership for data-driven decision-making, and identifying opportunities to leverage AI to transform end-to-end processes by incorporating it into our audit methodology. This position requires the ability to quickly understand key pieces of the audit process and leverage deep technical expertise to innovate and optimize the audit lifecycle.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Leading the strategy, design, and implementation of innovative technological solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Internal Audit department.

  • Driving the development and maintenance of comprehensive departmental reporting and dashboards leveraging tools such as Looker, Tableau, Google App Scripts, and other supporting reporting tools providing critical insights into audit activities.

  • Overseeing the identification, evaluation, and integration of new technologies, including AI, to automate and streamline end to end audit processes.

  • Applying strong knowledge of technology infrastructure, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support the management and development of custom AI tools.

  • Utilizing expertise in programming languages such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, HTML and/or other languages and tools for development and analysis.

  • Collaborating with audit teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for reporting, automation, AI, and system enhancements.

  • Developing and implementing best practices for data governance, data quality, and report generation within the Internal Audit function.

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains through technological innovation, including the strategic application of AI.

  • Managing the full lifecycle of technology projects, from initial concept and requirements gathering to deployment, training, and ongoing support.

  • Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in AI, data analytics, and audit technology, to ensure the department remains at the forefront of innovation.

  • Developing and delivering training programs to internal audit staff on new technologies, systems, and reporting tools.

What we're looking for...

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual possessing robust technology skills with a strong background in audit or a keen understanding of the auditor's mindset. They must demonstrate outstanding communication and project management abilities, coupled with a curious and critical thinking approach. This individual will be a collaborative team player, adept at building trust and influencing stakeholders to drive meaningful organizational change. They are a results-oriented producer who is eager to roll up their sleeves, take direction, incorporate feedback, and deliver high-quality products.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large scale projects.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, HTML, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI).

  • Experience in utilizing AI for efficiency gains.

  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Google App Scripts, and other Google Workspace tools.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, marked by critical thinking and sound judgment.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • An advanced degree, such as a Master's degree or MBA.

  • Advanced certifications such as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE).

  • Strong understanding of audit processes.

  • Experience with building AI models (Agents, RAG, Prompt Engineering).

  • Expertise in HTML coding.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $94,000.00 - $180,000.00.
