The Art Director on the brand team at Salesforce is responsible for the development and execution of creative projects across a wide range of platforms and channels. They work on both internal and external campaigns, developing compelling creative for customer engagement, campaigns, events, brand initiatives, and internal communications. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and executing brand and marketing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept and Execution:
Development and execution of creative concepts for a wide range of traditional and non-traditional brand creative including events, campaigns, digital, print, film and video.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Working with marketing, creative, production, and other teams to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.

Staying Current:
Leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies, including AI, to optimize workflows and enhance storytelling.

Project Ownership:
Overseeing multiple campaigns and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.

Presentation and Creative Reviews:

Experienced developing and presenting / discussing creative and the narrative / strategy behind the work with a group of creatives and leadership. Comfortable offering and receiving creative feedback in a constructive and open way.

Attention to detail:
Strong ability to develop work with a keen eye for details big, medium and small. Able to keep track of complex notes and feedback and ensure efficient and accurate progress.

Brand Consistency:
Ensuring messaging aligns with Salesforce's brand strategy and voice across all platforms.

Strategic Thinking:
Providing innovative solutions to meet campaign objectives and deliver on-strategy and breakthrough results.

Project Ownership:
Overseeing multiple projects and ensuring deadlines are met.

Culture building:
Foster and grow brand design culture through enabling world-class design.

AI Integration:
leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance content creation.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional design experience, ideally at a top creative agency or in-house for a global brand.

  • Experience in video and content creation.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, storytelling, motion design, and animation.

  • Expert in design software: Figma and Adobe After Effects. Strong handle of Google suite.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency with AI-powered tools and strategies for creative development, content creation and optimization.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $174,900. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $174,900.
