As a Front Desk Supervisor, you'll lead by example-setting the standard for exceptional guest service while overseeing and supporting our Front Desk Agents. This role is key in promoting a welcoming, courteous environment and ensuring staff are well-trained and knowledgeable in all front desk operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to front desk agents through in-depth knowledge of all front desk duties, SMS, and RTP systems.
  • Promote a culture of hospitality and courtesy by guiding and encouraging staff proactively.
  • Enhance guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving billing issues, and ensuring timely service recovery.
  • Monitor and train front desk staff to ensure competency, accuracy in transactions, and professional development.
  • Coach and support agents through ongoing feedback, one-on-one meetings, and training opportunities.
  • Verify daily financial transactions, monitor cash drops, and resolve discrepancies in overages or shortages.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and address interpersonal issues before conflicts arise.
  • Maintain strong interdepartmental communication with housekeeping, maintenance, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Report guest and staff concerns to management and maintain detailed feedback logs.
  • Oversee and delegate back-office tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Attend workshops and meetings to stay informed and professionally updated.
  • Ensure all front desk equipment functions properly and coordinate IT support as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Monitor inventory of front desk supplies, including lift tickets, rental forms, and brochures.
  • Contribute to overall team success by completing related duties as required.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED


Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in guest relations, hospitality, etc.
