Electrical Engineer



Description/Job Summary



Inteplast Group Corporation, located in Lolita, Texas (jobsite), is looking for a full-time Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering and 2 year related work experience. Job duties include developing electrical design to automate the roll-changing operation of the extrusion winder, develop a control system to improve the film quality and increase the production yield, analyzing machine component wear patterns and identifying critical failure points, developing programmable logic controller programs for automatic machine control, developing human machine interface programs for extruder control, developing and modifying programs for logical controllers, developing and modifying decentralized data network for communications among logical controllers, and performing power consumption analysis to determine the power factor of the plant and reduce the utility costs



Responsibilities/Duties



. Develop electrical design to automate the roll-changing operation of the extrusion winder.


. Develop a control system to improve the film quality and increase the production yield.


. Analyze machine component wear patterns and identify critical failure points.


. Develop programmable logic controller programs for automatic machine control.


. Develop human machine interface programs for extruder control.


. Develop and modify programs for logical controllers.


. Develop and modify decentralized data network for communications among logical controllers.


. Perform power consumption analysis to determine the power factor of the plant and reduce the utility costs.



Required Qualifications



. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.


. 2 year work experience in the job offered or as an Expansion Engineer.
