Pay Range*: $132,558.40 - $192,192.00/annually

Position Summary

MemorialCare's Enterprise Solution Architects are technology leaders. They drive the technical design of scalable systems for MemorialCare. Enterprise Solution Architects connect MemorialCare's long-term vision with the business and the technical strategy to build an industry-leading platform. They use deep understanding of distributed systems, algorithms optimization, and healthcare knowledge to build a new category of products intersecting deep learning and computing with industry-leading technologies. They harness groundbreaking technologies and build impactful products and platforms that redefines the capabilities of Medical Doctors and MemorialCare's healthcare systems.

Solution Architects are responsible for the design and development of high priority requests by leveraging their enterprise IT portfolio knowledge. This ensures the most efficient and sustainable configuration by providing a seamless transition to the application project team. They are responsible for overseeing software development to meet MemorialCare's architectural and quality expectations, which requires a broad knowledge of applicable software and healthcare processes. Solution Architects work with the business and Information Systems (IS) leadership to understand multi-year road maps and identify architectural initiatives which have the broadest impact.

Solution Architects are responsible for engaging and maintaining a close business relationship proximity for prioritization and satisfaction. They expeditiously and proficiently develop a deep understanding of the demand using pragmatic processes. They mentor colleagues through knowledge transfer and effective communication. Solution Architects work to create technical documents relating to application architecture, design steps, integration processes and testing procedures. They ensure a seamless integration of new and existing systems and eliminate potential problems while maintaining data structure and integrity.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

1. Determine the most effective software design strategy for market differentiation and growth

2. Interpret leadership requirements to produce solutions that conform to business requirements

3. Maintain a high proximity to novel concepts within the healthcare space to remain agile and current

4. Maintain great command of financial and contracting policies

5. Advance MemorialCare's IS software portfolio to meet focal business demands

6. Revolutionize application rationale through critical thinking and decision-based practices

7. Serve as the primary liaison for IS needs to align with strategic service lines

8. Anticipate issues and work to identify and implement solutions or mitigations with relevant stakeholders

9. Maintain cohesion and transparency of IS requests

10. Escalate project risks while providing remediation methodologies

11. Lead architectural discussions

12. Elucidate accurately the core machinery for solutions and effectively executes

13. Evaluate the changing IT environment and communicate technological advancements

14. Provide technical solutions to specific design issues.

15. Develop, analyze, and verify requirements for completeness

16. Provide alternative solutions and recommendations on key options

17. Translate customer needs into planned deliverables

18. Maintain accountability for end-user satisfaction

19. Gather business and technical requirements

20. Translate customer requirements into functional requirements

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
