The Team:The Toy Store Truck Driver is part of the Mattel San Bernardino Distribution Center Management team.

The Opportunity:

The Toy Store Truck Driver is responsible for transporting products and equipment between the SBDC facility and various locations, primarily El Segundo and occasionally the AG Store in Los Angeles. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as loading and unloading inventory.

What Your Impact Will Be:

The essential duties and responsibilities for the Toy Store Truck Driver positioninclude the following. Otherduties may be assigned as needed.

  • Drive the Toy Store Truck from SBDC to El Segundo for scheduled deliveries.
  • Occasionally deliver products to the AG Store in Los Angeles.
  • Load and unload products independently at both departure and delivery locations.
  • Transport returned items, desks, equipment, or other materials from El Segundo back to SBDC as needed.
  • Pick up shipping labels or other supplies during return trips from El Segundo.
  • Retrieve products that were over shipped or received damaged by local carriers.
  • Ensure all transported items are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Follow all safety and company protocols during transportation and handling.
  • Examine and maintain equipment daily.
  • Maintain a safe driving record and minimal property damage.
  • Ensure accurate and safe movement of equipment in the yard. Safely maneuver trailers into and out of tight spaces.
  • Complete tasks accurately and within the allotted time.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Possess a class C driver's license
  • Possess or able to acquire and maintain a forklift certification
  • Complete and pass required training
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Abel to read serial numbers, sku's, and numbers and letters on seals. Able to match numbers and letters on seals to paperwork and vice versa.
  • Able to understand and follow written and oral direction
  • Able to perform basic math skills such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Able to make sound decisions and judgments concerning vehicle operation and safety
  • Able to work independently and at a fast pace

The base hourly rate for this position is between $20.00 and $25.00

**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
