Facilities Maintenance Assistant (Entry Level) Location: Olive Branch, MS, USA - 8313 Polk Lane Shift: Sunday - 4pm-12:45am. Monday to Thursday - 10pm-6:45am. Note: OT mandatory if required. Shift subject to change based on needs of the business. Emergencies in the building may cause slight shift changes or overtime. Compensation - Market fair base pay +$1.50 shift differential. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. This entry level position would allow the individual to advance their career in the facilities/maintenance team. What You Will Need: Some facility, maintenance or service technician experience in a warehouse environment is preferred Power Equipment (Forklift and/or Reach Truck) experience is preferred; location is willing to train, but, must be able to maintain certifications Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand and power tools) Responsible for maintaining premises including work areas, offices, industrial buildings, and may also include areas outside Uses janitorial supplies, maintains restroom areas and removes garbage Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
