As a claim support supervisor, you will lead a team of claims technicians that provide support to claims professionals in the processing of insurance claims. You'll supervise daily operations, drive productivity, provide training and support to team members, troubleshoot system and workflow issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. In this role you will collaborate with claims leadership and other stakeholders as well as external clients and vendors.

This position will be seated in Sentry's Stevens Point, WI - Division Street office location.

What You'll Do:

As a Claims Support Supervisor, you will lead a team that provides support to claims professionals in the processing of insurance claims. you will supervise daily operations, drive productivity, provide training and support team members, troubleshoot system and workflow issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.   • Foster a collaborative environment within your team to ensure seamless coordination between different departments or teams involved in delivering customer service.

  • Review and monitor the processing of insurance claims to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures

  • Monitor and provide feedback on the workflow to meet compliance standards.

  • Ensure high standards of work by performing quality audits to drive accuracy and productivity to meet Sentry standards and regulatory requirements, revising workflows as needed.

  • Administer human resource related activities including timely performance and salary reviews and ensure all subordinates adhere to human resource related policies and practices.

What it Takes:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of related work experience

  • Claims, claims support, or related work experience with formal or informal leadership and/or training experience preferred.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain state certification as required

  • Analytical ability to make appropriate decisions

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
