Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Alpharetta, GA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The client Mobility is hiring numerous Motors/Gearbox Assembly Technicians to overhaul and rebuild locomotive gears.
  • We are responsible for disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling components according to drawings and guidelines to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
  • We inspect and adjust completed motors to ensure they meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and adjust mechanical components of engines and gearboxes.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems.
  • Read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve assembly processes.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Temp (3 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics, with vehicle restoration, and is ready to transition into the industrial railway sector.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a car mechanic or vehicle restorer.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in precision tools and measurement instruments.
  • Minimum 3 years of Mechanical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Big equipment experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Automotive experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a team and follow technical procedures.
  • Experience in industrial or railway environments.
  • Ability to learn and process information quickly and execute tasks successfully.
  • Ability to work safely and to operate power tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Diesel engine experience.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Ability to physically lift 35 pounds.
