Job Summary Performs repairs, corrective maintenance, and routine installations. Able to resolve incidents as required. Responsibilities
In this critical role you will be responsible for the facility infrastructure maintenance Perform site inspections and monitor the building and data center alarms You will ensure preventative maintenance on site infrastructure is completed (e.g. maintenance of primary infrastructures), or handled by vendors with your oversight Complete repairs and supervise vendors corrective maintenance on equipment. Responsible for preparing and carrying out planned maintenance Completion of site logs and data gathering for permits, such as MOPs and scripts is a key part of this position You will assist more senior staff with responding to all on-site incidents and act as directed You may be requested to begin responding to basic incidents based on own knowledge and experience Completes basic work requests and circuit installations Participates in ongoing infrastructure projects Carry out small works projects (i.e., lighting upgrades, etc.)

Consistently solves complex, cross-functional issues requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve (i.e., works with local ops team to perform root cause analysis, proposes solutions to issues and produces lessons learnt for future reference) Identifies and understands underlying issues; differentiates key elements from the irrelevant or trivial Can identify issues and apply correct rectifications (i.e., performs a simple root cause analysis)
Project Management
Assists in managing projects or other engineering initiatives (i.e., organizes regular meetings to discuss issues) Knowledge of CMMS systems, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
System Operation and Work Practices
Reviews electrical one-lines, construction drawings, and equipment datasheets Develops SOWs for routine processes and design and construction projects Performs installations and configurations of controls systems Utilizes safe working practices at an expert level (e.g. can apply procedure for lockout/tag out)
Training
Provides feedback on training programs Acquires knowledge by expanding experience with systems, vendor training and shadowing others Is SME with some systems and trains others inside and outside of the group
Leadership and Communications (including Vendor Management)
Assists in directing internal and external project team members Assists in directing external vendors per project or initiative such as general contractors, A&E design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers, etc. Internal and external written and verbal communication to include detailed analysis and reports
Technical Expertise
Utilizes expert operating knowledge of the relevant engineering systems to diagnose and repair advanced technical difficulties, and solve advanced issues (i.e., diagnoses issues and propose rectification actions from the analysis of equipment)
Desired Skills
Previous data center / critical environment experience (Pharma, Nuclear, Power Plant, Hospital) Comprehensive knowledge of critical infrastructure i.e. Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS), generators, Building Management Systems (BMS), chillers, life safety systems Low voltage power planning and troubleshooting skills Controls or BMS Experience - Allen Bradley PLC, Rockwell Electrical or Low Voltage State Contractors License
Qualifications
1+ years of experience preferred, 3+ years experience highly preferred High School Diploma You perform all essential job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation Available to work days/nights/weekends/holidays, if needed and/or required You can lift heavy equipment/items up to 50 pounds
