What You Will Experience In This Role:

The Product Manager is a member of the product team and is a technical role responsible for the Engine Health Monitoring of our Aircraft Health Management product suite. The role includes ownership of the product roadmap for assigned products and ensuring alignment with stakeholders both internal and external. The role is customer facing as well as the primary technical contact outside of the development group in product organization.



The Product Manager is expected to work with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, applications engineering, program management and customers to translate business opportunities into Market Requirements and ensure that the product roadmap is executed.

Responsibilities:



  • Own one or more product areas that require technical expertise to manage effectively
  • Translate market problems into technical product requirements in the form of themes, epics, and user stories
  • Through documentation and verbal interaction, ensure that the development team has the understanding required to deliver software functionality that delivers the intended business value
  • Prioritize development roadmap based on product strategy, business value to the customer, implementation cost, and resource availability
  • Work with product and engineering teams on implementation of new products or improving upon existing products
  • Act as the lead in product team to ensure product and technical readiness is met for the scrum team to act upon implementation.
  • Responsible for project scope. Define and lead technical and design decisions from a product perspective.
  • Review and demonstrate product functionality with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate and articulate scrum team results and identify opportunities for further product and technology improvement



You have:



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field
  • 5 to 10 years of work experience in technical or product discipline focus of web and mobile products
  • Ability to drive, contribute to and communicate solutions to technical product challenges
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Outstanding data analysis skills and ability to make data-driven business decisions
  • Experience in software (SaaS) and information management businesses
  • Knowledge of Business Aviation Industry is a plus
  • Experience working in Agile software environment
  • Must be able to grasp the big picture vision and have the drive to make that vision a reality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts where information, resources, and priorities can change quickly, and where information must be readily digested, and decisions made expeditiously
  • Must be a proactive problem solver, innovator and able to handle multiple complex product features and tasks
  • Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally (at least 1x per month)


Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 DOE (Depending on experience)
