How Can You Make an Impact? McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational solutions, is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Assessment and Reporting who will focus on concepting, designing, and delivering new and enhanced assessment and reporting offerings across multiple product portfolios, with the goal of supporting teachers in personalizing learning in their classrooms. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with Assessment Product leadership to support the development of an overall assessment and reporting product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and lead its execution. The Senior Product Manager must have deep customer empathy and that rare ability to champion the voice of the customer and advocate for the interests of the business at the same time.
The Senior Product Manager will be accountable for articulating and executing a cross-discipline, cross-segment assessment and reporting strategy for School, including third-party assessment partnerships. This includes understanding the current state across core, intervention and supplemental programs and markets, and then defining short and long term plans to:
Develop a cross-program strategy for assessment and reporting innovation, third-party assessment partnerships, and data integration opportunities to make assessment and reporting a compelling differentiator in our programs, and define new market opportunities.
Lead discovery and solutioning around assessment and reporting with Academic Design, Data Science, Technical Product Management, UX, and Engineering against strategic roadmap priorities to improve learning outcomes, personalize student experiences, and support teacher effectiveness.
Drive additional assessment, instrumentation, and student performance data visualization needs across core, intervention, and supplemental programs in close collaboration with portfolio leads and Data Science teams.
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for both the development and realization of product strategy through cross-functional leadership across Product Management, User Experience, Academic Design, Data Science, Product Marketing, and Engineering. The Product Manager understands the market and competitive landscape and is able to design and deliver assessment and reporting product solutions that deliver measurable business results including, but not limited to: revenue growth, usage growth, customer acquisition and retention. The role requires deep knowledge of assessment and proven experience in this field.

Lead the development of a comprehensive strategy for new assessment and reporting product and feature development, with a focus on external partnerships and data integration to augment our capacity and increase our competitive differentiation: define market needs and opportunities, and lead cross-functional concepting and solutioning.
Continuously monitor new product performance, the competitiveenvironment, and market changes to increaseproduct effectiveness, usage, and profitability.
Support the strategy and implementation of personalization-focused AI features and products, including content/feature recommendations, personalized experiences, as well as, collaborate with data science teams to develop and refine AI models that enhance platform experiences and user outcomes.
Partner with business, marketing, and other stakeholders on all aspects of the Go to Market Plan for new features, including but not limited to data capture needed, timeline of release to customers, training, and communication to internal and external customers.

Assessment Domain Expertise: You have the ability to drive/evolve assessment from a product feature to differentiated capabilities and new product offerings, whether that be in core curriculum, or as we begin to explore curriculum agnostic and other supplemental opportunities.
Product Management Excellence: You influence cross-functional teams to conceptualize, create, and deliver market winning learning experiences that delight customers. You leverage McGraw Hill's vast technology ecosystem to conceive of and deliver innovative solutions in support of your product strategy and galvanize internal collaborators to deliver continual customer value. You oversee multi-year roadmaps through all stages of the product development cycle.
Business and Financial Acumen: You uphold business objectives. You support the development of business cases that articulate emerging market value, timelines, and financials to obtain funding approvals. You support the management of overall financial and new product performance, including revenue, profit, and loss through the product lifecycle-from strategic planning to market launch to product retirement.

The pay range for this position is between $114,000 - $160,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Clickhereto learn more about our benefit offerings.
