Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a systems engineer for Range Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for:

  • Performing requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, detail trade studies, systems integration and test
    (verification), validation and interface definition studies of subsystem or system elements under supervision of the lead engineer
  • Performing technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for subsystems and system elements
  • Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle

  • Strong interpersonal and briefing skills
  • Model-Based Systems engineering (MBSE)
  • Cloud(Azure, AWS) experience and/or certifications
  • UML, SysML
  • Cybersecurity (Sec+, etc.) certifications
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders, users, and decision makers. Comfortable public speaking in front of large groups.

Workplace Options:
This position is Hybrid/Flex as desired. Orlando area is preferred. Required to be on-site on occasion for events and integration activities.
While on-site, you will be a part of the Orlando location facility.

Target salary range: USD $110,175.00/Yr. - USD $122,225.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
