Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Employee Services Manager. The Employee Services Manager leads a centralized team of HR professionals responsible for providing services to employees across the organization. This role coordinates the flow of work through the team; assigns tasks and reviews completed work for accuracy, assists in the administration of department activities, and provides technical direction in functional areas of expertise. The Employee Services Leader ensures execution of services that support the employee experience in alignment with the principles of People-Centered Management. This role establishes and monitors progress on goals and tracks individual and team performance. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid

What you will do:



  • Manages a team of HR Professionals responsible for responding to employee's needs and questions, which may include information about policies, benefits, leaves of absence, pay, and onboarding
  • Establishes HR goals and strategies for the team and evaluates results
  • Equips the team with the tools and training to effectively provide HR services
  • Handles complex employee issues, identifying needed changes in process, policy, systems, or decision making
  • Monitors incoming requests to analyze themes and ensure employees receive timely and accurate information
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement, training and/or education needs for the team and the organization
  • Works closely with HR Managers and Directors and Centers of Excellence to share trends and themes for employee inquiries
  • Creates, implements, and works to continuously improve processes

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Finance or related area or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years of Human Resources experience
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of HR Compliance and Employment Law
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Masters Degree
  • SHRM cert or other HR certification
  • Experience with Workday
  • Experience developing others
  • Experience leading a team of HR professionals



Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 - $166,000 (+ 15-20% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
