Job Description

The Business Development Manager supports the organization's development and maintenance of strong relationships with El Camino Health Medical Network (ECHMN) physicians and community physicians/providers. The Manager works closely with the Director of Business Development and Service Line Leaders to develop and maintain open communication with physicians to keep them informed of new programs and services. This role promotes the development of a strong El Camino physician referral network by increasing awareness of ECH services and resources, ECHMN, building new relationships between El Camino Health and physicians in the community, and assisting with strategic alliances to meet volume/profitability goals. The job includes informing key leaders within ECH of barriers to physician satisfaction and following up with physicians who express concerns to assure them that their concerns are being addressed to the extent possible. In addition, this position includes leveraging data and analytics to create informed decisions on strategic targeting and service deployment, supporting Service Line events, outreach efforts, and communication plans within and beyond Santa Clara County.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

Physician Relations: Visit physician offices, meet and conduct meaningful communication activities with physicians and physician office staff.

Identify Opportunities: Collaborate with physician and hospital leaders to identify business opportunities.

Physician Outreach Database: Develop and maintain a physician inventory and contact tracking method and provide regular reports to the Director of Business Development.

Service Line Support: Maintain a close relationship with the various service lines and assist the Service Line leaders where physician relationships are critical to service line success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, nursing, communications marketing or public relations.

Five (5)years' experience in physician relations and/or sales in a healthcare environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to build relationships, conduct presentations, teambuilding, conflict resolution, and ability to influence decision - making.

Salary Range:

$71.59 - $107.39 USD Hourly
