This role offers a hybrid work schedule with the flexibility to work remotely about three days per week. The Role: As the Accounting Manager, you will lead the Treasury and General Accounting operations within the Accounting Office, driving financial strategies that support key campus initiatives and ensuring compliance with fund accounting standards. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will manage cash flow optimization, oversee accounting activities across multiple fund groups, and provide leadership to a team of five accounting professionals. This is a role that combines both technical challenge and career growth. You'll be at the center of campus financial operations, serving as a key resource and trusted partner for staff and financial leaders across UCR. From supporting athletics and the School of Medicine to collaborating with purchasing, financial aid, and student accounting, your reach will extend across the university. You'll have the opportunity to build rapport, strengthen partnerships, and provide solutions that help departments achieve their goals while maintaining strong financial stewardship.
