Manager of Field Service, Site Mgmt

Summary-In this role, the incumbent is responsible forplanning and managing the field site activities for projects and to ensure execution within safety, quality, time and budget requirements.
Responsibilities
- Overseas execution of field service scope of projects.
- Defines standard processes, tools & procedures for the planning and execution of field site activities.
- Understands technical requirements as well as legal/regional regulations.
- Identifies, hires and assigns site managers and supervisors. Provides leadership and coaching.
- Ensures and facilitates staffing of project sites by site management in line with execution plans.
- Oversees and controls time recording and compensation of field labor and supervision.
- Defines and verifies qualification requirements and initiates training measures.
- Monitors and improves performance regarding quality and safety at site.
- Supports site activity planning and ensures implementation of standard planning systems and tools.
- Ensures availability and adherence of work procedures and quality plans.
- Monitors adherence to cost budgets, identifies risks and initiates corrective actions.
- Facilitates implementation of good practices and lessons learned across field sites.
- Supports site management in implementation of site layouts, site infrastructure and tooling/fixtures.
- Oversees site purchases and sourcing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience as Supervisor and/or Manager
- Previous experience as site manager or supervisor on Hydro Turbine/Generator Project.
- Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, schedules and budgets
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fully computer literate MS office suite
