The Sr. Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for a portfolio of hotels with multi-branded platforms and independents. We seek a leader who will work closely with our properties and regional leaders in Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations to make the best Marketing plan for each property.

This leader will be responsible for assessing market/competitors and developing multi-channel strategies that help each hotel to meet its revenue goals. This individual will need to be strong at data analysis and presenting results, budgets, recommendations and insights to ownership groups.

Location: This role is remote eligible anywhere in the country for highly qualified candidates.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY



  • Strong multi-channel Digital Marketing skills & knowledge of Marketing within the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to research market conditions, identify solutions, and share opportunities to grow revenues for both on-property and above-property leaders.
  • Proactively making recommendations and implementing action plans and new technology to improve online presence, increase market share, increase marketing performance, digital audits and ROAS.
  • Prepare and conduct insight and data-forward presentations to internal and external customers with both results and future opportunities.
  • Should be able to make strong business cases for budget spends based on data, as well as lead cross-functional and ownership calls.

  • Assist in transitioning new properties from a digital / marketing perspective into the Crescent Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
  • Coordinate and manage calls with each property in your region, applicable vendors, owners, and brands.
  • Actively participate in the annual budgeting per company guidelines and As requested, provide current and accurate financial information, ad hoc reporting, and executive overview of ownership and senior management.
  • Bring new digital marketing technology and A/B testing ideas to Crescent Hotels & Resorts and lead implementation and review of results.
  • Continually audit brand sites, vanity sites, OTAs, social media, review sites, etc...to ensure information is on-brand, optimized and helping the hotels to achieve revenue goals against the comp set.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • At least 7-10 years of experience in a measurable role dealing with multi-property hotel marketing.
  • Significant expertise in multi-channel analytics, reporting and digital insights.
  • Understands how to optimize PPC, Paid Media, Search Engine Optimization, Paid Social Media, Email Marketing, Digital Marketing Tools, Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt digital marketing platforms would be extra helpful.
  • A proactive, get it done attitude with a willingness to work additional hours if unexpected projects pop up.
  • A positive, resourceful, professional, solution-oriented manager able to communicate well and find mutually-beneficial solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Represents Crescent Hotels & Resorts while visiting properties, ownership meetings, and industry
  • Must be willing and able to travel as needed (typically 20-30%).



For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $130k - $150k; for applicants who will be working in New York State, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $120k - $140k; for applicants who will be working in Colorado, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $115k - $135k; for applicants who will be working in Washington, the anticipated compensation range is $120k - $140k; for applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $125k - $150k. For all other candidates, the anticipated compensation range is $115k - $135k. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
