Responsibilities:
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Work with leading-edge autonomous UAS companies and government organizations to provide critical national solutions for the DoD.
- Support AFWERX Prime in developing program and acquisition documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, performing risk management, and managing integrated product teams.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute various UAS flight-related events.
- Plan and monitor acquisition and program transition paths.
- Plan, organize documentation for, and monitor AFRL Safety Review Boards and Airworthiness requirements.
Qualifications Required:
- 10+ total years of acquisition experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a DoD acquisition program office or equivalent.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical skills, organizational and workload management, and interpersonal skills.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, avionics, or similar technical field.
- A master's degree in a business, engineering, avionics, or similar technical field, or a total of 22+ years of acquisition experience.
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and Small Business Tech Transition (STTR) programs.
- Knowledge with UAS/counter-UAS acquisition and autonomous UAS programs.
- Experience in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) at a related program office.
Clearance Requirements:
- TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- This is currently a hybrid position, requiring regular attendance in offices at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.At any time, the customer can require 100% on-site attendance.
Travel up to 25% will be required to government and industry locations.
