Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN ) to join our clinical team at your Bux-Mont Division, covering our Sellersville and Doylestown Locations. Under general supervision, this role provides high-quality nursing care, supports efficient patient flow, and assists physicians during examinations and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence and uphold the standards of the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
  • Collect and record vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication updates.
  • Perform EKGs and oximetry readings as required.
  • Draw blood specimens using proper safety protocols.
  • Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and specimen collection.
  • Respond to and triage incoming calls; phone in prescriptions as directed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Initiate IV fluids and administer IV medications per state practice guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LPN.
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Current LPN license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing.
  • BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
Physical Demands:
  • Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients.
  • Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
Work Environment:
  • Clinical setting within an oncology/hematology practice.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations.
