Your work will directly enable our customers to get more value from the Snowflake platform and shape the future direction of the product.

AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL :
  • Design and build backend data pipelines and services to provide a rich set of original data and insights as a service on the Marketplace to customers

  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, other engineering teams, data science organizations, business groups, to drive end to end solutions.

  • Contribute to improving our engineering processes, tooling, and standards.

  • Debug production issues across multiple services and improve reliability/stability.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:
  • 7+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting backend data pipelines & services

  • Extremely strong fundamental computer science skills.

  • Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building end-to-end customer facing products.

  • Strong knowledge of Java, Python

  • Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.

  • Experience working with product managers & cross-functional teams

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $195,000 - $287,500 .
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
