Job Summary Responsible for leading, training and coordinating all efforts for the Molding, Finishing Departments and shall adhere to policies and procedures to ensure that maximum productivity and efficiencies are met. . Summary of Duties & Responsibilities Monitoring and improving press utilization and productivity. Ensure the effective use of all personnel. Monitoring and working to reduce scrap levels. Training of all production colleagues and support staff. Cycle time improvement programs. Effective use of raw materials (including regrind). Shop cleanliness is a top priority. Working with Maintenance to ensure all production equipment is in good repair. Safety throughout the entire production areas. Ensure all ISO procedures are being followed and that all work instructions are being used and kept current by all production personnel. Ensure all labor and production data is reported and entered correctly into computer. Adherence to the priority list for all shifts/departments. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 5 years plastic injection molding experience. (Preferred) Minimum 3 year supervisory/leadership experience. (Preferred) Mechanical Ability and knowledge on Plastic Molding Equipment. Injection Molding - processing capability. Sonic Welding - processing capability. HSD or equivalent; some college education a plus
