Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $24.00 - $25.50/hour Shift: 12 Hour Days or Nights Hours: 5:00am - 5:30pm or 5:00pm - 5:30am QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Material Handler at a company in Littleton, CO. This is a potential to hire position. Apply now! Material Handler Responsibilities: - Identify materials within the facility and control their physical location - Perform physical transport, lifting, order pulling or picking, stocking and receipt and delivery of materials to and from established areas - Move materials around the plant by manual physical transport requiring lifting, pushing and pulling - Perform data entry transactions within the relevant computer systems to ensure accurate record keeping - Assist areas/departments with material support for ECOs, samples, projects and/or plant tests - Assist in resolution of problems encountered pertaining to material handling and inventory control - Perform inventory counts and assists in the root cause investigation of discrepancies - Coordinate recycling program including prescribed sorting, and coordination with supplier for returns - Follow all company policies and established operating procedures for the assigned material handing operations - Follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines for filling, emptying, mixing and handling of chemicals and hazardous materials - Handle chemicals in coordination with company policy and OSHA requirements Requirements for Material Handler: - High School Diploma or GED - Previous SAP / ERP system experience preferred - Previous experience working in a material handling role preferred - Previous experience working within a high-volume repetitive manufacturing environment preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Working knowledge of the regulatory requirements and operating procedures for the material handing operation Benefits: - QPS offers healthcare insurance through American Workforce after 4 weeks on assignment and paid holidays after 960 worked hours Application Deadline: None, Always Accepting Candidates QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
