Could you be the full-time onsite Process Engineer in Hornell, NY, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and process optimization expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in shaping efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets are met. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Production, R&D) to co-design products, define workstation layouts, and validate industrial processes, and you'll support the introduction of new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Designing the macro-process based on standard SMP. ,



  • Preparing the introduction of new technologies with associated process validation plans. ,



  • Identifying needs for specific manufacturing equipment. ,



  • Estimating method time and performing preliminary line balancing. ,



  • Identifying critical process steps for detailed Process FMEA and FAR/FAI. ,



  • Completing industrial documentation, including industrial data sheets and IMFU. ,



  • Defining workstation layouts while considering ergonomic and EHS rules. ,



  • Validating product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI. ,



  • Supporting production to achieve manufacturing QCD targets. ,



  • Industrializing retrofits after engineering changes, including documentation and workstation updates."

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. ,



  • Experience or understanding of industrial processes, manufacturing engineering, or process optimization. ,



  • Knowledge of process design methodologies, line balancing, and industrial documentation. ,



  • Familiarity with tools such as Process FMEA, FAR (First Article Review), and FAI (First Article Inspection). ,



  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. ,



  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards. ,



  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. ,



  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. ,



  • Proficiency in using industrial design and manufacturing software/tools. ,



  • A continuous learning mindset to stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.
