The Creative Learning Center at MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Assistant Teacher to join our amazing team. You'll work Monday-Friday (36 hours/week) right here onsite in beautiful Rockport, Maine. As an Assistant Teacher, you'll support our lead teachers in providing top-notch, developmentally appropriate care and education for our young learners. Operating hours of the Creative Learning Center are 6:30AM-5:30PM Monday-Friday. Shifts will vary within the operating hours. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Completion of foundational level early childhood trainings or college courses preferred. License/Certifications: Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification preferred. Current community/caregiver level CPR Certification and First Aid Certification preferred or must complete within 30 days of start date. Experience: Teaching/caregiving in group childcare/preschool setting preferred; Experience with the Creative Curriculum and NAEYC Accreditation preferred.
