Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Specialist (TCS). The Senior Program Specialist (TCS) supports program operations related to the U.S. Navy's Target Control Systems (TCS). This role involves managing hardware contracts, providing program or project management support, and performing program analysis to ensure mission alignment and execution. The Senior Program Specialist must possess a strong understanding of the Navy's Competency Aligned Organizational (CAO) structure and Integrated Product Team (IPT) processes. The role also requires familiarity with System Navy Target Control (SNTC) components and associated platform hardware. This position plays a key role in driving coordination, compliance, and performance across technical and operational teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as one or more of the following:

    • Hardware Contracts Manager

    • Project Manager

    • Program Analyst

  • Familiarity with:

    • U.S. Navy's Competency Aligned Organizational (CAO) structure

    • U.S. Navy's Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure

  • Knowledge of:

    • System Navy Target Control (SNTC) components

    • Associated platform support and hardware relevant to the Task Order

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and oversee contract management activities related to hardware and system components

  • Provide program management or analytical support for TCS-related initiatives

  • Coordinate with cross-functional Navy IPTs and operate within the CAO structure to ensure program success

  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, timelines, and deliverables associated with TCS programs

  • Ensure alignment between contract requirements, hardware specifications, and operational goals

  • Identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support resolution of technical and contractual issues

  • Contribute to planning, budgeting, and execution of TCS-related projects and initiatives
