Job Description




As a Security High End Commercial Building $21.50 per hour, a high-profile residential and commercial property in Hollywood. As a Security Officer, you'll play a vital role in maintaininga safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants, guests, and vendors. We're looking for professional, reliable, and observant individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for service. As a Security Officer, your mainresponsibility is to ensure the safety and security of the property, its tenants, and visitors. You'll maintain a visible presence,respond quickly to incidents and uphold site protocols with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
  • Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
  • Permit authorized people to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
  • Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
  • Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
  • Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
  • Performing routine interior and exterior patrols, including stairwells, hallways, and parking areas
  • Providing exceptional customer service by engaging courteously with tenants, guests, and the public offering assistance and de-escalating situations when needed
  • Physical ability to perform foot patrols and work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Comfort with using mobile technology for report writing and incident documentation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to remain alert, calm, and proactive under pressure
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • At least 1+ years of prior commercial security experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills & Active listening skills
  • Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Able to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Able to research, investigate, compile information
  • Able to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Teamwork skills
